Spotted going the other way - recognition of mine from the driver. Not one I've seen before locally, but looked lovely!
Think it was a 1996 N plate but can't remember the res of the plate!
Nice to see a previously unknown one for a change...

Re: Who's still active?
What I think is nuts is that whenever you look down Ebay there are WAAY more P6's then SD1's and 800's combined!
Guess there was much less competition back then though...

Chaps, the bits i got are ready to dispatch but I'm afraid I haven't got near the place since. If however anyone is still looking for any bits, please let me know via PM, I know someone who has broken several 800s and has a reasonable stash of bits all very well organised and documented! R

Re: Alucard7002 - 1997 Mk2b 820 Vitesse Fastback - Pewter Grey
Tell me more about the low and high temperature switching Dave - is that why the CTS has two wires (assuming it's earthed through its body). I'm wondering whether one of those wires has failed on mine. Bearing in mind mine only just creeps over the emissions threshold too. We could start a new threa...

Re: Alucard7002 - 1997 Mk2b 820 Vitesse Fastback - Pewter Grey
Happy days eh?! TBH I think mine is similar on petrol - thing is, mine does know when it is hot - i.e. cooling fans respond propery etc - so think the CTS is fine in my case - and I have had at least 3 different new ones on there with the same result! Will be interested to see how you get on with th...

Re: Mk1b/c 820 Si being Scrapped, Derby
Partial success! Servo cover retrieved, bit rusty at the back but not perforated - will clean up and paint no trouble, also perfect in the visible areas. Wooden dash bit recoverd - it's reasonable, few minor wrinkles but it hasn't delaminated or gone white. Screen finished - bust it when I was about...

Re: Mk1b/c 820 Si being Scrapped, Derby
Can have a look if I'm going, no worries. If you want you can PM me your mobile no and I'll send you a pic if and when I get over there. Think the wood was OK, didn't notice the screen trim.
Ditto Jez, we can exchange numbers by PM and we can exchange pics to make sure I have the right bit.
