Ha.... No, just venting!! Thought it may be of interest. Obvously not so I can remove it if you'd like? Just in my personal experience, sadly there hasn't been much that has been done for genuine improvement in DVLA recently. Perhaps others have a different experience that me. But if you get bad ser...

old man's car?
My 24 year old nephew visited last night. When he saw the Rover he asked what I was doing with that old mans car! He had a fit of the giggles when he saw Recaro seats in it and asked if they were to stop their incontinent pants sloshing over the sides on the slow trips to the post office on pension ...

We've got a Morris 1800 which is a fantastic car. Absolutely bomb proof. A real pain to change the clutch on though!!

No crumple zone in a mark one capri, and crumple zone didn't work on the Triumph as the impact was too great for it to handle, and that was only at 30mph. Crumple zones are progressive absorption areas, which abjectly failed in the Triumph due to lack of engineering integrity and the lack of any obj...

Mines stealth bomber or stealth for short, as no-one expects it to be as fast as it is. Also, it's big but no-one sees it coming, and no-one can catch it when it goes!!

I know they are not very strong... In my dark and distant mis-spent youth I had the misfortune to hit one when it was brand new. I was in a Ford Capri which needed it's drivers side steel wheel straightening and a new headlight and outer wing. Sadly the Acclaim died. It lost it's front wing, A-post,...

Definitely do the tensioner. They can last forever, but it's only a bearing and if they get moisture in through sitting, etc then all bets are off. It's the diesel MGZS I think they call it the Lseries, but not entirely certain. I do know it's the updated version of the old Montego Perkins Prima O s...

I'd definitely swap it. They're not good at sitting in one place for a long time without movement. Also, did you change the tensioner last time? If not I'd definitely do that too.... Just fitted a new belt to wifes 42000 mile MGZS. Belt ok but tensioner bearing not good. It would definitely have sha...

Well, I got the ABS sensors off the ebay seller you recommended. Trouble is that although they were marked n/s and o/s they were actually both nearside! Now my fault code was for nearside front continuity, so I changed that one and tried to clear the fault. No good... Not ony would it not clear the ...
