Mk1 bites hatchback.
I've placed a maximum bid of £50 on this, why I don't know, but if nobody else bids, I'll pick it up and get it assessed. If your interested, you know what my max is so feel free to have a go.

How do I make a donation to the forum. I value this site a lot. Thanks for the hard work and effort that people give free of charge, just to keep it going. I for one appreciate it very much.

Re: We are not a club meet.
PMSL I will sell you the sterling for £800 and then buy you a meal and a pint.
I would then go back to where I bought the sterling from and just buy one of the other Mk1's that he is currently offering for sale.
As for not knowing you ran away, I think my dog would let me know you were gone.

We are not a club meet.
There has been a lot of discussion regarding becoming a club, but it has occurred to me that we are more than able to organise events and other services such as discounts etc, without forming an actual club. As long as friendly like minded people who share a passion for something join together and a...

Re: Should we form a "proper" club?
As somebody who was once a chairman of an established club and the founder of another, I urge great caution before a club is set up. It's a truly thankless task with loads of admin, usually left to just a few people who burn out and squabble. Members give promises of help and good intentions, but wh...

Books and a wallet.
Hi all. I'm hoping that somebody has a set of owners books and a wallet, to replace the ones that would have been supplied new with my car back on 6th March, 1989. I'm also interested in finding a bro heir that the first owner may have read when deciding to buy my car. For those that aren't aware, i...

Mk1 A,B, or C?
As you may know I've just bought my Mk1 Sterling. What I would like to know after seeing references to A,B, or C on the forum, what letter applies to my car, which was registered on March 6th, 1989?
Please could somebody explain the differences to me as well please?
Thank you.
Ian.

Re: Hi everybody, I've just bought an 800
Well I'm very chuffed this evening. My new rover has been delivered and I'm verry happy with it. Of course the engine work has to be done, but apart from a little minor tiny bit of rust, the bodywork needs a good cut and polish. The front leather seats need a bit of restoration, but that's about it....

Thank you Adrian. It needs to go ASAP and to be honest I will be sad to see it leave, but my desire for an 800 took over when I found the Sterling.

Re: Hi everybody, I've just bought an 800
£500. I believed that to be a fair offer after I did my research into prices from this forum. I explained this to Russell after a few messages back and forth including a telephone call. I had evidence showing him that he would not realise the prices he was asking for both cars, as I was able to show...

Re: Hi everybody, I've just bought an 800
I'm sorry you missed out on the car, but I'm glad I've got it. They have a few mk1's, so if you message me your number, I'll happy get Russell to call you. He has been fantastic and has bent over backwards to assist me, both with the purchase of both cars and also their delivery. I'm so sorry that y...
