Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)

The Gremlins has taken it a step further. Yesterday we were fiddling with the windows and dash lights, and suddenly the car wouldn't start again. Totally dead on the key, nothing. We pulled each fuse and wiggled the starter switch connector, still dead. I even tried the fob thinking it might be kill...

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)

Cheers guys, yes very nice with some progress, and today I managed to get the dash lights working. Or actually I had to do a crude solution hooking it up to a live wire from the dash dimmer. To be honest there is something fishy with the compatibility between the Sterling and The Rover. The switchbo...

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)

Holy revival. "The Black Beast" is back home again after some resting time at my other garage. The reason it's been off the road for 8 or so weeks is because I finally managed to get my Coupe to a garage to fix the gearbox. That is a story of it's own and will be told later... I hope to get it back ...

Re: BREXIT - from my point of view.

I have some update on this little matter. I bought a few items from Rimmers last week and as I wanted them urgently I ticked the box for the most expensive shipping (ok, about £10 more than the cheapest but noted as being delivered at 3-8 business days instead of a possibility of 50 days delivery. (...

The car is at the bodybuilder, and I will pick it up next Thursday / Friday because they are doing the "bridge" this weekend.
Just in time to go to a Rover meeting in Dordogne...

Fingers crossed!

Re: My Rover 827 Sterling Option Pack 1989

I took my Rover for a ride, and pulled over to get some gas. My neighbor at the pump leaves her door open and a gust of wind sends her on my Rover  https://i.postimg.cc/30wdXb1s/20210503-185243.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/mtJt9jHn/20210503-185253.jpg It's not much and it's going to be done again,...

Re: As if I don’t have too much to do...?

Thanks Dave, I might ask for your advice as I know your skills. But already there you have a problem. I don’t have a warning light. That said in my switch box on the dash there is a warning light so it could be used. The light should be 12v 0.2A or 2.2watts if I remember it correctly. The cut ...
