Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
Have you knowledge of an imminent flood and been building an ark? Either i'm being dense or i can't see what you've built? Just a very small porch or rather the rail for my mother in law Dave! All done in Corona distance. :/ So packed the car up with tools and some 2x4 and then some. 25 deg in the ...

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
Thanks for the link Dave, I'm definately using RockAuto again.
Actually I found the guy by recommendation in a facebook-group, he has worked as a Sterling dealer and has loads of stuff still, 9 cars included. Apparently the Sterling is pretty cool over there and has it's own little community.

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
Good news on the timing belt Henrik - does it still go alright? They didn't use the wrong sort of coolant? Nice roof rack but not sure i'd ever use one, prefer to have a trailer. :D Yes, everything is excellent. It pulls very strong from 1800rpm and I’m actually amazed of the difference betw...

Once it arrives, Can’t you please take some snaps while doing this and share with us? Could be a great writeup for the future.

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
I did paint the full panel under the trim putting the line where the trim sits. Once it’s back it’s very hard to tell. Actually it’s very dirty in the pic from dust after sanding the filler so it looks better now when cleaned up. Over all it’s very dusty now so need a proper clean! In other news, i ...

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
Black isn’t the easiest paint to get really good and doing a door while it’s hanging with a rattle can really sucks. But it’s below the trim so not as easily spotted by people looking. The other three doors are off the car so would be a bit easier to get better. The bonnet looks like it’s gotten som...

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
The lack of badge gives it a certain anonymity to keep people guessing! Good work on the door! Once you finish the welding, grind it back and put a skim of filler over with a lick of black paint, nobody would ever know! :D But I have a new badge! 8) You mean like this? (Except the black pain...

I must admit... it looks pretty cool with no badge in the front! https://i.postimg.cc/KkqvG45T/1-A1827-A8-1320-4497-B55-F-E452920-DF1-C6.jpg Bottom corner semi-fixed. https://i.postimg.cc/S2vk03y7/6-AEE6483-AB48-4-CD8-939-F-DD0073-EDAEEE.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/XBB3nLqM/5-E694461-9153-44-DB...

Re: Thunderbird 2 & The Green Machine
Renewal of the slave and Clutch bleeding on the T16 must be the most common service detail! I think I’m into my third slave in 12 years. I never had a problem bleeding but it takes a good assistant.

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)
Oooooooooo-errrrrrrrrr!!!!! :o  Are you doing the timing belt Henrik? It’s not that bad. I just need to fabricate both corners after all the bisquit is removed. :) Saying that the three other spare doors are a lot better and only needs some paint. This door was the best one so I deci...

Re: Rover Towbar cap
Haha yes Dave, I see where you're going, but I cant find any stickers with the red Rectangular Rover printied in it. I think I'll end up making a photocopy of this box, cropping it in the computer and printing it on waterslide. https://i.postimg.cc/q68dpZ2y/BBFF1-F3-F-FB48-4-DA5-9-FCF-DE078707-E720....
