Re: the mk1 collector from cornwall

I would imagine the electrics may be useful though although the fusebox may need binning. Who wouldn't mind rear electric seats and a full trip computer in their Mk1. I do agree though that with that amount of corrosion visible the underneath would be ferric swiss cheese.

Don't knock poverty spec. Less to go wrong and my poverty spec 820i fastback had over 303,000 miles on it.
That car looks well cared for too and a jolly nice colour.

" Invoice for£756.24 for the tyres and MOT dated October last year." Those were expensive tyres. I also see the seller is one Doctor who is a keen reseller of exceptional vehicles.................. yeah, ok. I reckon the car is worth around £3k at best. I wonder what work it's had done due to the co...

Re: Anybody tuning into Amazon; The 'GT' ?

1 hour and 11 mins is a tad too long. A lot of time was spent faffing about but the format is familiar.
It's quite enjoyable to watch.

Re: The value going up?

I've seen a few well cared for examples for sale recently at between £1,000 and £2,000. A red Mk1 820i was up for £1,500 and it was spotless.

Re: YOU DIDNT BUY IT, OH NO, YOUR KIDDING, SURELY, REALLY ??, WTF, WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH IT

I got a good condition used one a couple of years back after I had a little accident in my car. The original one just crumbled away. Luckily that prevented the crash cans from getting bent. The one in the ebay picture is a rear one as the front one is a lot more substantial and has brackets for the ...

I wonder if anyone has been behind you and wondering why an 800 has an 07 plate on it only to realise it's a trailer and not someone tailgating you in your Mondeo
