Re: Mk1 sun visor

Thanks Dave!
I did have an idea of putting some new velour over the old. I even have a couple of extra door cards with the same velour in them but it would be a lot easier just swapping them over.

Mk1 sun visor

 I managed to make a hole in my interior sun visor on my drivers side, the left side. The colour is grey but there is a slight shade of purple in the velour so difficult to tell the precise colour. I presume they are hard to find but hope for the best. I realize this wouldnt be the drivers si...

Re: My Rover 827 Sterling Option Pack 1989

I forgot you had a manual Stephan and the auto transmission does have a lock-up clutch as you've obviously guessed by now. If you are finding it difficult to disengage and possibly engage gears, it would be worth looking at the clutch including the pedal where the fulcrum pin for the master cylinde...

Thanks for the info Rich, and many thanks to James aswell! And to all of the rest involved. The forum is so important to keep alive as it is the largest bank of R800 knowledge in the world, and if I knew anything about these things I would gladely assist in any way. It's only a tiny bit of frost Henrik! Had much worse than that here a couple of nights ago whenit got down to -9C although i hear somewhere in the north of Sweden reached -37C recently? Probably due to the humidity in the air. We get pretty much humidity compared to the north of Sweden and you prob...

Re: Re: 1994 BRG Vitesse Fastback

Impressive! Those brackets look really top notch! I have a sandblasting kit or rather many different types but never got around building a box or cupboard for it. It really is needed when sandblasting smaller items. I’ve mostly used my equipment back in the days when I worked on old A-frames, chassi...

Re: Number 58!

Sounds like a good solution. Hopefully it will survive a few more years then. Actually I don’t mind if cars are used and finally gets written off after a good long service. Not all cars can be restored to show car condition. Who knows, a few years from Now it might change owner again turning it into...

Re: Number 58!

Well if this one doesn't sell, I'll strip the car and weigh the engine. I might have to take it to work though to use the weighbridge as I suspect my bathroom scales might not cope very well. 😂 No problem Chris, you first take the engine in your arms, step onto the scales. Then you put the engine t...
