Rich, I 've missed this totally. How long are you going to be down there? And I must say those petrol prices are so weird. Over here they are debating on increasing the tax on petrol with about 5p a litre, which means a price of £1.30/litre or something like that.

:o You're joking? €25000? A very nicely restored 121, 122s would be €5000-6000 here. A 123gt (if you find it) would never be more than €10.000... I just browse the ads now and someone is trying to sell a 123gt for 135.000sek = €14.000. He will never get that. There is another one 123gt non r...

Yes a 123 GT would be very expensive, but 121 or 122s aren't that bad. €2000-3000 fetch a good one.

P544 is a great looking car and a true classic. Much more expensive now than the Amazon is. As you can see in my sig I had a 1964 Amazon 121 4door with Borg Warner 35 autobox. Great car but thirsty and slow. I'd really like a 444 the older version with split windows and B16. :)

It looks like the car is new! 8) I wish my panels were flat and straight like that.

By the way, are you really seeing any volcano dust?

Thanks Simon. It's pretty good and I'm really ok with it. Most people wouldn't se it, but I do and that's kind of the problem. :) Phil I don't think it's magic really. We have a professional painter here locally that helped me and my father supplying paint to our Austin Sevens. He sells car paint ov...

Thanks Phil! Pics always tend to lie, but the piece above the sill is really perfect. But it was easier as it's a complete smaller panel. The smaller spots are not as good and easy to tell if inspected closely. But it's an old car and I must keep the cost down so leaving it to a professional really ...
