Re: Front Lower Suspension Arm.

Have to agree with you there Richard but I replaced the top and bottom ball joints 2 years ago and have covered less than 4000 miles since that time so they wont need doing again for a long time. This years advisories were different to last years. They always used to say "play in steering rack", hav...

Front Lower Suspension Arm.

Just got a new MOT this morning with a few advisories. Had the old cat replaced and once off the car, you could see a hole right through it, no wonder it was having no effect. Mind you, it's been on the car for 13 years at least. One Advisory says: " Front lower Suspension Arm Inner Bushes deteriora...

Re: issues with work

Keep going Ricky, trying to run a business in this climate is hard. Someone told me once that is only stupid people that succeed in business. The clever ones knew when to give up but the stupid ones kept going until it all came right for them. No criticism intended.

("No you can't boot up YOUR machine from YOUR recovery discs. The machine says NO") ..... a system designed to need tech support from the off) You mean that people would actually do this sort of thing as a business practice? I am shocked (not) (I always keep linux on a pendrive handy these days) Bee...

WindowsXP problem.

Help! I am stuck. While using the Repair facility on the XP disk, I accidently put a new copy of XP on my PC so now it boots to the new copy. I now have 2 copies of XP on my machine and it will only boot to the new copy. I cant use the Restore function because I am on the new XP copy, so there is no...

Re: Alcohol content.

Hi Jim, thanks for that info. Decided that I needed some new interests for this year and one is Home Brewing. I made some Honey Meade Liquer from a kit and it turned out so well that I then went on to make some ElderFlower Champagne, which also exceeded my expectations. Heaven knows how strong it wa...

Alcohol content.

I wonder if anybody can tell me how to measure the alcohol content of a liquid, such as Beer or Spirits using a Hydrometer? Does one need to take a reading before fermentation starts and a second reading after it has ended and the compare the two readings?
