I have done the deed and sold my sterling, didn't get what I wanted but it's gone "as is/was" sold to a friend who bought an sd1 off me years ago, it is probably the car out of all my cars that I will miss the most, it was by far the second best car I have had, inspite of the engine issues a few yea...

I made up metal ones for my car and used countersunk screws to get around the screw head problems.. regards ricky

mini also use psa engines now as well diesel and petrol, not come across any in bmw but I suppose that may happen soon as some of there engines have been going bang, timing chains that are at the back of the engine?... a lot of brands are not what they used to be, I think the current consensus seems...

some of the shitreon and Peugeot cars are quite reliable, mainly the diesels nowadays, the citreons for some reason do not appear to be as reliable as the Peugeot's, so maybe they have gone with Vauxhall to poke Renault in the eye and maybe make there vehicles more reliable, or just maybe they are t...

in the workshop today, tyre pressures, oil and water levels, oh I nearly forgot had the aircon regassed and found the leaks that appear to be very slow draining the system in 6-8 weeks (hopefully anyway) it's like sitting in a fridge.. is way cooler than the Peugeot, in more ways than one lol... reg...

bit more done it now has steering, the column is mounted and joined to the rack, quite easy in the end just extended the rod between the u.j's with a 3mm thick tube welded and cotter pinned for extra security.. the dash will need a bit more strengthening just in case, it is only screwed into wood so...
