I've got a box full of T25 turbo bits, Dusan. Left over from when I made one good one from 4 bad ones. If you are going down the rebuild route and need a specific part, I may be able to help.

I bought a brand new vitesse rad a year or so back for mine for around £100 from a local factor. It was for an earlier model than mine, the only difference being the fan switch hole which needs blocking for the later cars.

I'm interested in the bonnet, dave. How much are you looking for it?

'm interested to know if the pressed steel 4-door hinges are the same dimensions as the cast/forged coupe versions. I need upper and lower both sides.

Dave, does the bonnet include a good sound insulation pad?
Also do you have any coupe door hinges?

I have to say, I'd be disappointed with mid 20s. My lumbering swedish bus (2.4 turbo diesel) will do mid 30s with ease and on a long run on motorways low 40s.

Great stuff. I'm looking forward to the next installment - how to fabricate a Rover 800 from scratch.

It's supposed to be an all new engine. I've heard very good things about it in the Fiesta, but it can be a bit overstretched and give some trouble in the bigger cars like Focus and Mondeo(!).

'16 Plate Toyota Aygo. Had to drive it 200 yards to park it one of our sheds for storage.
