Re: Forum Problems and Virus Infection
Any ideas yet as to the name of this virus and the file names it contains? I have been running Ccleaner and Spybot, both up to date and they have found nothing so far, but I still have problems reaching sites that once loaded OK. So I can not be sure that something is not lurking somewhere. Fortunat...

Re: My dads old now mine vitesse
Thomas, I remember asking why your dad good rid of a perfectly good car. To be honest, getting the gearbox off is not too bad a job, but the bolts through the engibe plate can be a pain to find. Dont for get to take the speeod sensor off before taking the gearbox off. Ii's easily broken if left on w...

Drivers side front indicator
Hi all,
I am looking for a Drivers Side Front Indicator Lamp (the one that sits in the wing by the headlight held in by a spring) for a Mk 2 saloon. Or just the clear glass (plastic cover) its that thats just fallen off and disapeared. PM me please if you have one for sale. Thank you.

Re: Dan's 1995 Rover 820 Si Saloon
I have had lots of problems with 820 clutches over the years with the clutch pedal sinking to the floor. Replaced several slave cylinders (expensive) only for the problem to appear again. My answer has been to make a new pushrod that is 19mm longer than the origonal. My theory is that the piston tra...

Got a new MOT today with three advisories: Slight scratching of windscreen. (Been there years) Slight engine oil leak. (despite new head gasket in November) Front tyres sllightly worn on inner edges. (Tracking done in Sept last) Quite pleased that nothing unforseen required a vast amout of cash that...

Tenesmus, read the bit about your missus having an altercation with a scooter. This happened to me some years ago. I was in traffic and had come to a stop. Suddenly heard a bang and next thing you know, there is a guy doing an Eddie Kidd impression down the windscreen and sliding off the bonnet. We ...

Re: Brad's Frontera 3.2 V6's.
"The Frontera is a much under rated vehicle. It is based on very capable Isuzu running gear, after all."
I never knew that. A local plant hire company some years ago had an Isuzu, worked it very hard and swore that it was one of the best vehicles they had ever bought. Very tough and reliable.

What something is worth is what someone will pay. Price and value are different: price is what you pay but value is what you get. Hope that does not sound too convoluted.
