Re: 1935 morris 18/6.. resto/update/modernise
I have not got very far with this, however I have done a few little bits.. and more recently I have made a start on the wings and inner wings which will (hopefully) be in one piece again, very soon, have chosen to rebuild the inner wings rather than make new ones, the main reason being I feel better...

Re: ricky's rover sterling
have finally fitted the new side bumper mounts, made them up from scratch, have come out very nice if I do say so myself.. the rear bumper sits very straight, the front still sits low on the front below the lights but the side is nice, they are all held very firm as well, very pleased with the resul...

new year day meets
Brooklands new year gathering is the big main one.. I think pre 88 for that or normal car park and entry fees..
the phoenix inn, Hartley wintney, hook. is the one I am going to this year.. I normally do both but won't get into Brooklands and don't want to pay for entry.. regards ricky

Re: the "mad maestro"
glad they are ok dave.... the maestro has a "super clutch" fitted to it which is rated at 450lbft, it is a twin 7.5 inch clutch with a modified flywheel to take the clutch and a heavy duty thrust bearing, hence the issue, super clutch appear to have gone out of business, so am having to try and find...

Re: the "mad maestro"
I have not stripped the gearbox off yet dave was just thinking to organise and get a price to do it, should really get a camera into the starter hole and check the thrust bearing visually first but am quite sure it is going to be that, the car drove from harltey wintney to Brooklands and back home w...

Re: the "mad maestro"
I forgot to say I took the mg out on new years day to a couple of shows and the clutch started screaming when the pedal was pressed, so gave the impression the thrust bearing is breaking up... well finally decided to look into the thrust bearing on the mg... as luck would have it the original compan...
