Re: Have I missed something?

At the moment on the Facebook page, there is more "concern" than celebration of the announcement Gary.

Especially if it's being done without the forum's knowledge or agreement.

Have I missed something?

I know I'm not on here as often as I'd liked, but I thought the "Do we become a club" discussion had been settled to "Stay as we are"?

Then this pop's up?

Sound's like this one may well be too good to be a Daily Hack.

As rare as it is, if possible it should be looked after, not ragged around over winter.

Re: mk1 825i

Hi Paul, Certainly sounds like an interesting car. :) The BMC/BL Rally is held on the first weekend of August each year (subject to conformation) at Ferry Meadows, Nene valley Country Park, Peterborough. If you ever need a second pair of eyes on the car, it would help if you could add your general l...

Re: mk1 825i

Hi Paul, Welcome to the forum!. Prices vary depending on specification and condition. Being a 2.5i makes it a fairly rare beast, but if condition is an issue it will show in it's value to others. In the end it all depends on what someone is willing to pay for it. Pictures will be of help in regards ...

Re: My 800's + other Rovers.

While the 827 is in the final stages of recommissioning and sill work (sills now complete) and awaiting Jago's response in regards to doors, I have been tring to get these 4 ready for sale. The BGT spent 7 years in storage while we dealt with family bereavement and the move south, as did the Midget....

Re: rover sterling mk2 parts/forsale

If the doors are not already spoken for?

My drivers actuator has been gone for some time, but not sure yet if wiring issue or the actuator itself.
If it turns out I don't need it, I'll send it your way.

Re: rover sterling mk2 parts/forsale

Thanks Jago, I'll take them.

If no dibs on doors yet, and are rust free, can we do a deal on them as well? (if they are a straight swop for my 93/4 fastback doors)

Just need to arrange with Bob.

Re: rover sterling mk2 parts/forsale

Thanks.
I'm in for surgery tomorrow, and won't be able to pop over for a bit. I wonder if it's possible to run them over for me? (Or I might ask Bob ;) )

Re: rover sterling mk2 parts/forsale

What are the front wings and Bonnet like for rust? (Especially the bonnet around the hinge mounts)

and if good how much?

Pitty it's a twin airbag dash, as I would have been interested in that too.

Re: My 800's + other Rovers.

Thanks Dave, I need a non Airbag Dash as UKV is an early Mk2. A spares car sounds a good idea, but unfortunately I don't have the time of space to strip one down, and having been diagnosed with Carpal tunnel in both wrist's, and arthritis in both shoulders, the efforts needed to strip a car are curr...

Re: My 800's + other Rovers.

Happy to say that UKV now has a new MOT. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances We could not make it to the BL day meet. All UKV is awaiting now is Paint for the sills and door bottoms completing. I am still on the look out for a White Gold 2 Bonnet and other panels if anyone see's any for sa...

Re: BMC Rally

Some images already appearing on facebook. Wish We could have made it this time, but alas the car's not ready, and with Fiona's recent stint in Hospital, we thought it best not to push things too early. My thanks to all involved in the organisation again this year, and to all those who made it to th...
