I very nearly brought a lwb version just before xmas, but could not fit in the garage and was not practical to pop down to tesco's, they are cheap until they go worng.

I have built a z80 system running CPM,no discs all software in 8M eproms, cold boot to running wordstar in less than 5 seconds.

mind the wheels the alloys cost £200 each to replace, ebay ones go for 150. transfer box and DMF are why I went for the 2.0 auto petrol with lpg conversion.

I can tell you the location in the eeprom that has the code and the time out value, but you would need to be able to connect to it and read the code with a PC. same cct and software thats used to read write codes into the key fobs.

yes a hire car in Florida daisy world car park, they all looked the same, had to put a box on the back shelf so would not loose it again.

When i did mine, I cut the cable at the plugs on the seat loom and soldered each wire to a track on vero board. then cut the old wire loom with about 6" of cable to the plugs and then solder each wire to the other end of the vero board. wrap the veroboard in heat shrink and just plug them in. the he...

wrap the drain plug with ptfe tape worked for mine, no drips after fitting. cheaper than new oil pan and worth a try.
