Hi there Rover guys'n'gals.
My vehicle does have a Rover 2.0 mpi engine under the bonnet but it isn't a Rover 800 :shock:
Any guesses to what it might be :?:

Out in the desert with a 1998 Grand Cherokee V8, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4L and a 1997 Chevy Tahoe V8. Back home: 1969 MGC GT

just got a 827 mk2 coupe and loving it, more commanly known as mad mick ( used to run a nitros injected firebird ) still missing my rover, now got a BMW 735 1999. now got 2003 760l, a 6.0ltr V12 and 445bhp. :evil:

It'll have had the 2.0 fitted rather than the Rover V8 because of Italian tax laws.

Was your mouth out. As an aside, Peykan never did the GLS.
In fact the Peykan was based on an early Minx and many of the panels were made differently to accomodate Alpine lights etc. I once tried to get a new shell from Hillman (well Chrysler as it was ) to re-shell the GLs I had but the guy said there were many differences between a 1974 RHD Hunter and a LHD Peykan shell and it wouldn't be worth the effort.
