newbie with a sport lux coupe

Currently restoring a 1995 800 coupe sport lux, 350 bhp,steel cage roller bearing gearbox, full stainless exhauast,will be completely poly bushing,interior leaving standard. watch this space.

350bhp? What was done to achieve that?
Out in the desert with a 1998 Grand Cherokee V8, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4L and a 1997 Chevy Tahoe V8. Back home: 1969 MGC GT

Looking forward to seeing the progress!

I'm assuming a little head work, cams and a much larger turbo for the 350hp?

Be nice to see the results on a rolling road and see what power/torque curves you get :twisted:

What suspension + chassis modifications are planned to handle the extra oomph?

I've been meaning to get in touch with Jim Basford about his Vitesse which won the FWD handling challenge at Ten of The Best a while ago (2002 if memory serves) I'd love to know what he had done as he had a fastback rather than a coupe (fastbacks are notoriously "floppy" in terms of shell stiffness with the coupe being the best/stiffest)
