Hi, I am Thomas from Belgium,my motherlanguage is Dutch,so excuse me if my English isn't that good

At the moment I own 8 MGRover cars including 2 Rover 800's. An Mk I Vitesse 2700 and a 33000 miles Mk II 827Si. Both cars are in verry good condition. Previous I owned also a Mk II 820Si

Welcome to the forum Thomas. I do like your MK1 Vitesse in BRG can you tell me what year it is as I have the same car in Stone Grey 1989

Mine is a 1988 Vitesse,but first registration in 1989. It was in trafic up to 1996 and now again in traffic since 2010

Thomas do you know if the bumpers are original as mine has the larger front bumper with headlamp wash yet the smaller rear bumper? coincidence that they are the same?

you are right! the rear bumper isn't orioginal. i replaced it when i bouht the car because there was an crank in it. but it is still in my garage and it is a smaller one

I haven't had this car very long so have not done an oil change so any top up would be semi synthetic 10/40 form a leading brand such as Castrol, however when I carry out an oil change I shall switch to Mobil 1

Welkom Thomas! I too often visit Belgium although I am mostly in Brussels, I am currently trying to find work there as I'd like to move back there permanently.

If I do manage this, I will of course bring one of my 5 Rover 800s with me and we could probably meet up.
