Consumable parts suppliers

Post by The oily rag » Sat Nov 19, 2016 2:04 am

Hello,

I'm going to need a few service items for the 820 soon. Belts, pads, filters etc.

Who can we go to for parts without buying dross or being ripped off?

Any assistance greatfully received.

I use the eBay shop of CarParts4less to get oil and oil filters. The main site is in the link.

There is also a great eBay dealer who does Nos 800 parts and his price for consumable service items are good. (XJRover)

Try best of British, he usually has a supply of genuine parts and at fair prices. I am not sure if this link will work, if not, do a seller search.

Most decent motor factors can supply service items for the 800. MPD, Euro Car Parts, Andrew Page, etc. To avoid the "dross" ask for recognised brands in your aftermarket bits.

NGK and Bosch do ignition parts, EBC and Apec do brakes, etc.

I`m sure carparts4less and europarts are the same company...

Europarts always have sales with discount codes, but carparts4less are already cheaper.....
so they end up around the same price with free delivery.

Only bonus with europarts is you can pop it back to the shop if its wrong (depending where your live)

Spot on Dean - carpartsforless is the "end of line" ebay shop for Eurocarprats where they tend to sell stuff that isn't selling in their main ebay shop or their website and old stock they need to shift. :D

Well I learnt something new there. I bet Carparts4less will get a fair chunk of the older stock for many once mainstream cars, to make way for new stuff for newer cars..
