Hello, my son bought a very nice Rover 827 Si V6 a year ago. I think it is a 1990 model. The car was not sold by dealers here, only a private import.
Now the clutch slave cylinder is leaking. Tried a supplier in UK but delivered wrong part twice.
When mounted on the engine, the nipple on the slave cylinder that connects to the fluid pipe, is pointing upwards. The one we got, the nipple was pointing straight forward towards the radiator/cooler.
Anyone else familiar with this problem and know where to find a part, new or used?

welcome
Welcome aboard the flagship. Suprised there are not more Rover owners from Norway bearing in mind the Rover badge
If anyone can help it will be someone here.

Rover 827 Si Slave Cylinder Clutch
Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I have also posted a thread under http://www.rover800.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6687, just to keep it going under a proper part of this forum.
Got one reply, who suggest maybe go for the part I gor and find the replacement pipe that will fit to this slave cylinder. Can anyone point me to the part number book on internet? sure there must be one.
I also restore and collect Honda Motorcycles from the 70's.

I got all Honda's. as follows:
1 CB 350 F
2 CB 550 K
1 CB 750 K
1 GL 1000 K0
I import them from US and restore and collect. You can see some of them on my website which is in English: www.hondahobby.no
I like the Moto Guzzi's, but I am not familiar with all of their models. Which years are they from? Do you ride a lot, guess you have a longer riding season than me.

Le mans
Def the Le Mans. The best looking bike ever made. Its an early 1976 model with the round tailight.
I use the 1200 Sport a lot to get to and from work but the classics only come out when its sunny(so haven't been out much). We have a MotoGuzzi 1200 Norge at work which is on trial and is super.
Your 1000cc Honda I take it thats the unfaired goldwing thing with the tank that splits in the middle? Very rare over here and sought after in original condition.

Heard the sound of the Le Mans on youtube, sounds like a real willing runner. However, however, however, the T3 got the real classic style
As a modern tourer, I am sure the 1200 Norge performce well, reminds me of the BMW 1200. Looks like you will have a very comfortable riding position on that MG.
Honda made a small CX500 model back in the 70's with a V-engine which also is very comfortable and handles well. Maybe some of the same riding caracterisitcs.
Yes, the GL1000 1975 model was the first Goldwing ever. It was made as a sportsbike, not a tourer, to compete with the popular Kawasaki 900 Z1. Today, I would not consider it anything else but a very comfortable tourer. You are right about the tank, it splits up both side and reveals the electrical units on left side and and the water for the cooler on the other. Middle section is for tools, fuel cap and candy! The tank is under the seat, which in addition to the boxer engine gives it a very low center point of weight. First time riding I thought it would be clumsy in handling, but it was surprisingly well balanced and easy to handle. Only 17000 miles on mine since 1975. Just got it in november, so no plates yet.
We still got lots of snow and cold, so no riding until late april, I live just south of oslo.
From the avatar picture on this forum, can I conclude that you work with the police?
