Before I go on, let me introduce myself. I am Mark and I'm from Holland. To be more specific I am from the east of Nederland, from Hengelo, a town called Hengelo.
Ever since my parents had several 800's, I had a soft spot for the 800. For a while I have been looking for a mrk1 800 to buy and keep. I really want a 825si (a continental spec I beleave) or a 825 sterling from 1986 of 1987. Because they are very rare, I haven't been able to find one. I have contacted several dealers and forums in Nederland and Germany and posted adverts on 2nd hand sites but no results jet.
Allthough I currently don'nt have a 800 jet, I do have some (older) pics from two of the three cars we used to own. As soon as I figure out how to insert the pics
, I;ll upload them.From the first ( a 820si from 1986) I regretably can't find any pictures. It was a dark grey/bronze one, which my brother distroyed
The next two were a 825si from 1987 in linx bronze and the last one was a mrk2 820i ( a low spec version) from 1993 in dark blue.

. I still think the linx-bronze colour is the best one for the mrk1. Makes it look very smart and distinguished.
