Re: Hi all
Welcome. This the best forum for the 800 series, all types. Body panels are getting rare but some members do have old stocks and occasionally you can get door skins depending on where you look (Rimmers spring to mind). As for sills, you may become very popular if you can make them as they are like rocking horse poopoo as they are unique to the Coupe. As for other parts, they share most with the saloons/fastbacks. Windscreen scuttle panels are a little different to the other 800s but can be modified quite easily to fit. Rear windscreens are also difficult to source, again depending on who you speak to. There is a thread on here where concerns over the future of remaining 800s may be put in doubt over parts but we are attempting to put together a resource of information regarding this. MG TF rear brake calipers are a direct replacement for the 800 ones, a common reason for handbrake inefficiency and subsequent MOT failure. A few members have been getting rid of a lot of parts as they are moving on to other marques but they remain valued contributors to the site and their expertise and knowledge is one of the reasons for the site's success.
Once again, welcome.
Once again, welcome.

Re: Hi all
Welcome aboard! The rear brake caliper problem is usually caused by some numpty not adjusting the handbrake correctly and/or fitting new rear pads incorrectly. If you have that problem, just shout! There's plenty that know how to do it right and potentially save the calipers. Mine were borderline 4 years ago due to incorrect handbrake adjustment, did what was needed and fitted a new set of pads and discs at the same time and haven't needed to worry since.
The coupes are getting pretty rare now, especially in Vitesse form. But it seems all 800s are getting thin on the ground!
