Hi there - I joined last night after seeing a couple of 800s on ebay and wanting to get some info!

I have a 1989 BMW 316i with 63k that I have had a couple of years but I have always had a bit of an Austin Rover bug my dad kept them in business in the 80s with a fleet of Montegos and 800s. Changing every 6 months I spend a lot of time at dealers so have a soft spot for all these cars! I might be tempted on ebay if I can persuade my wife!!!

As an aside I think I have pretty much every rover model brochure from the 80s if anyone is looking for something I may have duplicates!

Anyway hello and I am enjoying looking around!

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you're considering an 800 then now would be a good time as prices for good ones seem to be on the up. If you can buy from a member here rather then ebay I'd always recommend that, as you're far more likely to get one that's been looked after.

Only two 800's now,white 1991 820i with TWR and full special order leather (been stood for 15 years) and now a Nightfire red Tickford with 135k on the clock
