Footwell Lights

Hi All,

I'm after 4 footwell lights please, as fitted under the dash to Mk1's.

If the wiring is there already, then get some of the LED panels from ebay and stick them to the underside of the dash where the lights should be.
Here's some that I got, although I've not replaced the lights yet.

The wiring is not there, and I would prefer the original units.

But thanks for the suggestion, Gordon, I will consider it if I draw a blank.

By the way, I'm after 4 because I have two cars, if anyone has just 2 that will be useful too.

I fitted the door puddle lights to the little panel that screws on by the bonnet release on each side.

You can take a feed for the lights off the purple/white wire on the connector rail under the column.

It does look good, but I find that the square lights under the dash provide a better light.

You can't see them, thats why

IIRC, the smoke door lights I have usd only come on Mk1 cars, or post 96 cars.

Turns out they can be bought brand new for about 90p!

thats the same mod i did on my coupe a few years back, i fitted rear light units aswell though and door edge lights. i have a couple of mk1 original footwell lights kicking around somewhere in my shed.
