Probably no chance but mine flew off on the motorway last week and can't seem to find any online so had to try here on the off chance

Crikey, is this the big long section you are talking about Robert? That is unfortunate, they are bolted on. I might know someone who can help, I will send a message and get back to you.

About 4" high by 48" long looks like it was held on by sticky pads on plastic clips along the bottom of the door

That is the one from the lower door, they should have bolts at each end to help hold it in place. I have sent a message to someone breaking a coupe on the Facebook page.

quite right, they are bolted at both ends, but the bolts only go into the glued on clips on the back of the strip.
mine came completely loose and flapping around recently I had to remove it and re-glue all the clips back on.
good as gold now though

Simon, did you have any luck obtaining this lower door cladding? I very recently lost my O/S one without warning on the A45 at speed (and yes, I've have gone back looking for it!)...

I shall keep looking. I thought I'd bought a full set of coupe cladding from R800 NUT Chris a few years ago "just in case", but they're nowhere to be found. Anyway, it's an important engineering lesson about the long-term reliability of adhesives...

It went with my last R reg 827, I left it too late to transfer it off.

So DVLA will have the plate now.
