Re: Various bits wanted
I thought I would try here before e-bay but I've seen regulators for sale by themselves and just wanted to save on postage.
Are the ABS sensors really £100+?

Re: Various bits wanted
Sensors are expensive but there other makes which are compatible and may be cheaper. I just think it's down to the resistance of the sensor, once that is matched and you can put it in the correct spot on the hub then all it does is send pulses to the ABS braking unit. Are you sure it's the sensor and not just grime/metal particles stuck to the ABS ring ? The rings are magnetic so you may find metal fragments stuck to it.
As for the alternator, get it refurbished at a specialist where they can check everything such as bearings, brushes, regulators etc.
Clutch slave cylinders can be bought new such as http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Rover ... ed6&000072

Re: Various bits wanted
Thanks for your reply
The sensor is open circuit, so I'm pretty sure it's creamed.
Thanks for the link for the slave cylinder

Re: ABS. If you search the site, I think someone identified that the Rover 200 sensors (I think) fit, but with too long a lead?
