Non airbag grey dashboard
I never liked the beige interior so have been swapping it out for grey
all that is left to do is the dashboard.
(I do have the airbag type in grey but would prefer the original style with shelf if at all possible)

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard
which is why I am after the non airbag dash......mrpcpc wrote:I don't suppose the airbag module will notice that the passenger airbag is missing.
Also, it's a modification. Not meaning to put a damper on things but it should be disclosed to the insurance company of any modifications.
The dash fixings are different on the side brackets for airbag and non airbag so make sure you gat those also.
The centre console is riveted to the airbag dash and is part of it. So you will also need the centre console for the non airbag type.

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard
If you fancy having the Flint grey mk1 dash in the Shitesse I'll do you a deal.
You can have it for free!
IF!
You come around and swap it out yourself - as long as I have a dash of some description in the Shittese I don't care

It is a MK1 item in Flint grey not the Mk2 grey in case you were not aware.
Cheers

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard
I got the wrong end of the stick Ian - i thought the beige dash was also non-airbag so won't be much help to me if it has an airbag sadly.
However, if you swap your dash with Dusan, perhaps we can sort out the carpets at the same time - he's about half hour away from me (2 hours in bad traffic! ) so you could kill multiple feathered freaks with one missile!

I can supply access to tools, tea and coffee - however I may not be available for extra pair of hands. Let me know as soon as you can RE: dates and I'll let you know

I will have a look at possible dates and have a think.
Ideally I would prefer to take away the dash for later fitting rather than trying to do all in one go which may scupper Dave's hopes and dreams for a single session.....

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard
I could still be on the lookout for a beige non-airbag dash but i know Dusan has scrapped Shitesse - whether he kept the dash i have no idea though.
The other problem for me is i need it to be coupé non-airbag dash as it seems from research i've done they are different to the others.
