Hello,
Does anyone know of any mk1s up for sale? Im interested in purchasing one as my first Rover. Im not too picky, fastback or saloon, manual or auto. I would love a Fastback Vitesse in silver or Nightfire red. However i understand how rare they have become. If anyone knows of anything it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know.

Theres a few Mk1's on ebay at the moment, 2 saloons and a fastback but all three are going to need work to varying degrees. So depends if you want to save one from the scrap man and get it back on the road or hold out (possibly for quite some time) for something much nicer. They pop up occasionally.

Bodywork should be the number one priority IMO.
Mechanical stuff is easily fixed/swapped.
If you have your heart set on a Vitesse I'd hold out personally.
As nice a looking car that silver 820 may be it will be no match for an 827 IMO.

They do - i started with one, then got the second and then the third appeared! The third is since departed to swell the numbers of someone elses dwindling 800 fleet and has been replaced with a Jolly Green Giant - or should that be Oily Green Giant!
