Gearbox Ecu and other parts.

Hi Rover fans I wonder if anybody can help me!!, Iam after a gearbox ecu cheap if poss for a 825 kv6 as mine is fried due to water ingress, a glove box with hinges in cream with lock and if poss a key, fastback rubber boot seal, the covers that go on the big plastic panel inside the tailgate, fuel filler flap in white gold if not it can be sprayed, not sure what this part is called but I need the plastic tube piece that the seat locking lever attaches too it can be found when you remove the back of the seat, also the long bracket that the plastic cover that fits over the window/gearbox ecu attaches too at the front by two 8mm bolts.

Its a little silver box under one of the front seats.

But I`ve just sent Tony one in the post today...

Although looking at the list of cars he has , I dunno why he didn't borrow one from one of the others

Hi Hoggyn yeah I know I have seven 800's no room for any more lol, three with the honda 2.7 lump two with the t series 2.0 turbo lump which none of these have a gearbox ecu, and finally two with the 2.5 kv6 one is my daily car the other is my missus car which I bought only a few weeks ago with a few faults and no mot, one of the faults turned out to be a fried ecu due water ingress which turned out to be the N/S/F drain tube was blocked and had come off looks like its been off for a very long time as the ecu was really rusty, so with what having two 800's with the kv6 engine soon to be two on the road I have no spares at all for the kv6 versions, if I did I would of borrowed one, I did to be honest take the one off my kv6 sterling to see if that would cure the fault it did, I even took the ecu apart it was shorted out so in the bin it went, thanks to deano it will soon be back on the road.

He only had one other KV6 auto Dean - that's how he confirmed the fault!

yea, but at the time Dave I didn't know the fault was confirmed, thought he was just gonna try it and see .

by the way Dave , still got the A pillar trims, i haven't took a pic yet, but there is a couple of marks on the drivers one.

That's fair do's Dean - i only knew because i remembered a thread from some time back where the OP had either only just bought or was just buying the one with the gearbox fault - it was on fleabay and went quite cheap - nice looking car as i recall. I advised him to swap the ECUs from his good one to the suspect one to confirm the fault (it wouldn't reach more than 30mph i think) but that's as far as i knew.

Definitely interested in the A-post trims, between them and what i've got i can get a good pair i'm sure. My passenger side one has some odd marks on it but the drivers one seems ok so a good clean of both good ones and i should be ok.

Also do you have the rubber door seal that runs round the edge of the hole in the body where the door fits? Preferably the drivers side or both? If so and they are good, maybe we can do a deal for those as well as the A-post trims?

I got all the door seals still....
Door seal and Body opening seal and the interior edge trim too.

Be a bit weighty though.
