Re: Lowering springs
Cheers for the link, bit more than I wanted to pay and I'd want to lower it a bit more not level it off as that's mainly what those moto build springs are for.

Another alternative Andy :
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S032008-SPAX ... 1071157997
It only shows two springs, not sure if it's the full set of 4 or not.
This set does come as all 4 springs and lowers the car 35mm (15mm on a Vitesse) :

Why is it you want to lower your Vitesse?

Re: Lowering springs
I've always liked the look of them when they're lowered, not made my mind up on whether i want to though but if a cheap set of springs come along i might

Re: Lowering springs
THe problem with cheap springs Andy is they might be exactly that - cheap!
Could be more trouble than they're worth, if you're going to do it, get a decent set!
As Del-Boy would say, you know it makes sense!

Re: Lowering springs
Similar thing goes though Andy - you don't know the history of them, if they've been hammered then they won't be any better than a cheap new set if you see what i'm getting at? If it's a keeper then new would be the way to go - by all means buy a cheap set to see how they look/perform but get new for the long haul.
After all, you wouldn't fit knackered tyres, if the springs are knackered then they won't keep the tyres in contact with the road, likewise with the shocks.
