Re: Rear reverse light bulb holder
I've got some Charles, not sure if they're the Mk2a white/grey ones but if not, the Mk2b black ones which are stronger.
Are you after left or right? I don't think they're handed but until i find them, i can't be sure. I know where they are but can't get to them for a few days, been having a major shift round of things at home and have piled a load of stuff in my spare/dining room. They're in a drawer in a chest of drawers in the furthest place from the door!

Hi Dave, hope your well. These are not handed according to Rimmers, (XFM10012) but having said that, I need the left hand (passenger side) please. If you have the black (abs plastic I think) type this will do nicely because they are better made or stronger as you say.scoobyh123 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 11:03 pmI've got some Charles, not sure if they're the Mk2a white/grey ones but if not, the Mk2b black ones which are stronger.

Re: Rear reverse light bulb holder
Not bad thanks Charles - i'll dig them out some time in the next few days and let you know. I think they're attached to a complete set of rear lights, got Mk2a and Mk2b types in there but not sure if they all have bulbholders.
I'll find out soon though!

Re: Rear reverse light bulb holder
Dave, I got a bulb holder yesterday from Bradford Auto Spares Rover salvage. It's the later black type and it works for both bulbs.
I still could do with a spare though, in case the other side decides to pack up due to the age. That side (driver side) has both bulbs working but I've not checked the contacts for rust. The rusty contacts are difficult to clean with little space inside so it's much easier to replace the holder when needed.

Re: Rear reverse light bulb holder
Strangely enough Charles, i found mine yesterday. They're actually the Mk2a type, the greyish-white ones and are attached to a pair of reverse/fog lamp assemblies. Next to them in the drawer are the matching outer indicator/stop/tail light clusters.
I have the Mk2b style as well so the choice is yours. As i need the space, i can do a very special deal on the set of 4 rear clusters with bulbholders, but i need to double check the Mk2b set to make sure they're complete.
How much did Bradford Spares charge for the bulbholder if you don't mind me asking?
I can't upload photos at the moment, thanks to some recent updates to not only my PC but my phone as well so if you use WhatsApp, PM me your number and i'll send you some photos that way.

The Mk2b type are fine, but the white/grey one might fit easier maybe. I just struggled slightly to fit the one I bought yesterday, which made me wonder if the Mk2b are slightly more bulky, but I'm not sure.scoobyh123 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 8:29 pmI have the Mk2b style as well so the choice is yours. I bought the holder for a tenner from B.A.S. I find their charges are at the higher end, but then they have their overheads to cover.
