I Need an 800!!!

I am looking for an 800 I'm not fussy about colour but it must be an auto as that's all my Mrs can drive(not that I mind too much as I'm a lazy git :lol: )

I also want a fastback as a saloon is just not practical for me.

I don't mind either an 827 or 820 but am nervous about the KV6.

I am willing to travel for the right car and my budget is not that great

Trim wise the only thing I must have is A/C

Oh 1 more thing i need to use it as my daily car asap so MOT is a must and Tax is a bonus.

If anyone has something or knows of something that fits the bill please let me know.

What will be the main usage of the car? i.e. town driving or dual carriageway and motorway driving?


If you want an auto I would definitely go for the 827. But if your only driving around town, you don't really need the extra power.

TBH its probably about 50/50 I would prefer an 827 because having had both in the past I found the 820 auto a bit slow. Although i can live with it if the car is right also it would save a few quid in petrol.

Ideally I would like a Vitesse but as She who must be obeyed only has an auto licence that's out of the question. :(

As for fuel economy I wouldn't say there is a vast difference between an 820 auto and 827 auto IIRC
