Bumpers

Mark 1 and 2 ... I knew I still had a few and found these hiding in a barn loft space. None are cracked, bashed or damaged. All need repainting due to slight scuffing.

Let me know if you are interested . I don't want much for them. They might even be free if you are particularly polite.

Hi Brad - are any of the 15 remaining for a Mk2? If so, are they painted, new, used or what? Also is postage/courier an option?

By the way, i think Ian was referring to your comment that the bumpers might even be free if someone was extra polite, hence the "Sir" etc - but you knew that anyway didn't you?

Yes I did - eventually. I just hadn't looked back far enough in the thread to see his original comment.

Right then, here we are...4 have been reserved and 3 of the worst ones were chopped up this morning

Here is what I have...

1. FRONT, Post 1996, White Gold
2. FRONT, Post 1996, Dark Blue (Oxford)
3. FRONT, Post 1996, Woodcote Green

4. REAR, Coupe, White Gold/Satin black lower half

5. Mark 1 Large post 1989 REAR White/Grey, red insert (not chrome). Two tone

6. REAR, Mark 2 Pre 1996, Midnight Blue

There is another bumper that I can't reach right now but I can see it. It is an Azure Blue, Mark 1 Large rear bumper, I think.

None are new. None are damaged or have deep scratches or cracks apart from some minor scuffs and stone chips. ALL will need repainting. Some have chrome strips, fogs etc but assume you are only getting the bare painted bumper and you won't be disappointed.

Collection only, sorry.

The contents of my barn are being cleared this week and these do need to go by this weekend one way or another.

I don't want anything for them but my wife likes Rose wine and I like chocolate.

The person who wanted the 4 which I had reserved for him on the basis he would collect them this week and pay nothing for them has now asked me to hang on to them until April! What is it with some people?

I don't want to sound shirty or whatever but I am just trying to clear these this week as they really do need to go by Friday. I have advertised them on here for a fair while now ( 6 weeks ) without anyone being serious about having any so hope you won't all feel aggrieved if I tell you that I have decided to dispose of them tonight. Sorry if you were still deciding what you might want but I haven't got the time this week to mess about. I really am very very sorry. Consider them now all gone, please. Thanks.

I wish i had seen your thread a few weeks earlier Brad. I literally only just caught up with it and with the lack of notifications at present found it hard to keep up. In fairness it's a long way to drive for one coupe rear bumper, even in Mk2a White Gold trim. I know this is probably too late to ask as you have to do what you need to for your own things but would you be prepared to wrap a bumper for a courier to collect at all please Brad? I'll check back later and see if you've replied, either on the thread or via PM - if you haven't i'll assume the worst but hope for the best!
