Hi

Can anyone clarify a couple of 827 Vitesse queries for me?
1 did the Vitesse have any brake or suspension upgrades over a standard 827?
2 are the lattice type wheels on this one later model specific or an option - I thought Vitesse's had the 5 slant spoke design wheels?
3 any other upgrades over a standard 827 - think front sports seats for one?

827 Vitesses of this year should have 16in 5 spoke Roversport alloys, 20% uprated shocks and springs and ARB's although this could be specified on lower models too, the leather seats were an option, with lightning striped cloth/leather bolsters as standard, and 285mm front discs but then all 827's of the time should have those.
A closer inspection of the car might reveal whats original and whats not.

That surprises me. I've seen several over the years with the lattice wheels on. I know obviously they could be swapped over time but were they an option when new?

If anyone is interested ive cleaned the brakes up now and are all working
So two new tyres then it's ready for an mot.but a could check over should be carried out still

Why not chuck a pair of part worns on and get it tested then?

I would imagine that's what's stopping most people going for it?
