If the lid is in beige plastic, how much for the rear centre ashtray? The two retaining clips at the top of mine have snapped so it no longer stays in place. I've decided to try and go concours- starting from the inside out.

New rear ashtray seems a good place to start!

It does have 15" alloys, i'll get a pic of the style of them later. Can't remember if it's 4 or 5 but at least a full set for the road.
Cheers,
Dave

Here you go Sam, it has a set of 4 of these :

There seems to be a mix of tyres on them, two Pirellis (not the same, one is a P5 the other is a P6000), an el-cheapo Chinese thing and not sure on the last. I can't vouch for the age/condition of the tyres but they come with the wheels so you'll need to get them changed over.
Cheers,
Dave

Cheers Dave! I'm confused - is this you car now?

But that's a possibility. Not fussed about the tyres as I would probably ditch them and stick the new Dunlops on XOG had fitted last week. I thought the tyre that kept loosing psi was a crap tyre, but it seems the alloys are at fault...

It is Sam - bought it back in december. There are a few comments somewhere in this thread about me taking on ownership but i think most people skip to the last page to post their needs.
All the tyres seem to be holding whatever air is/was in them so you should be ok with these wheels. The car itself is another XOG so probably came from the same dealer originally.
Not after much for the wheels, the tyres aren't worth charging anything for as i wouldn't want to trust them although a couple look pretty good.
Cheers,
Dave

Cheers. XOG is a Brum plate - it could even be an ex management car like mine. I may have get one refurbed before buying anymore and see if that makes a difference. Three sets of alloys is probably on the excessive side...

Cheapest way of fixing it is to either go to a tyre place and get them to put bead-seal on it or by some Tyreweld, squirt it in when it's gone soft, top up the air pressure to where it should be and take it for a few miles drive.

Dave

Hi Dave,

As you know, I'm doing the car up, and was thinking a set of alloys would finish it off lovely, so, do you still have them and if so, what's you asking price
