I'm still not 100% I want to sell, so not bothered if it doesn't. I'll give it a couple of weeks and then if it doesn't sell..........it's a sign for me to keep and carry one with.

Needs the rear pads taking out and reinstalling correctly before those calipers sieze completely as well. I doubt it will pass the brake roller test on the rear brakes for service or parking brake.

Matt - if you can remember which thread i listed the procedure for the rear pads recently can you either link to it or copy & paste the procedure please?

You have a photo of a rear wheel - the giveaway of the caliper problem is the bright ring of contact on the disc about an inch or so wide. This shows there is a problem because the pad isn't contacting the full area it should. Seen it quite a lot when people have had rear pads changed or the handbrake is "adjusted" to pass the MoT. The handbrake should not need any adjusting if the pads are fitted correctly as the auto adjusters will take all the clearance up so the handbrake comes on in 3-5 clicks. Yes, it's a high handbrake compared to something like a Ford but it needs the extra movement for the auto adjusters to work.

You could be right.....who knows LOL

What I do know......is that it has hardly turned a wheel in several years. before I bought it the owner said it had not moved in over a year. and since I have bought it....its done 1.5 miles to and from the windscreen fitters.

It was only a few days ago Matt in your caliper types thread - third post down explains the procedure for the rear pads. I've known several cars where the procedure hasn't been followed and it's resulted in siezed calipers and the tell tall "bright ring" in the middle of the pad contact area on the disc like the photo shows further up.
