Bit of an update!!!

I've managed to jerry-rig the immobiliser (seems to have locked itself out somehow despite a separate CCU/ECU) so the car will start and run, for a few seconds at a time at least.

The engine fired first time, no rattles, smoke or anything else nasty and there is documentation to show a cambelt change about 10k miles ago.

Apart from the few parts already gone and a few more earmarked for other things, most things are still available. If there's anything you're after please drop me a PM.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi, any chance of the driver's door central locking actuator at all please? My one on the Vitesse is throwing a dicky fit, repeatedly trying to lock itself. Taps out a nice rhythm though

Hi Mark, i'll have a look to see if it's still there - i know it's not in the door but it might still be in the car.

Are the front rear subframes the same on all 800s ? Mine is a little flaky and the MOT guy said last year he wasn't going to start knocking it about to see if it's on it's way out. This year, the car will need some sill work and I was considering getting them to put a good, second hand one on and have it cleaned and painted up.

Dave,
Have you still got the 2 items that Rimmers describe as panel assembly- under lamp rear, ie boomerang shaped between the rear lights & the bumper?
Are they in good condition & rust free?

Regards
John

Hi John,

yes, they're still there and in good condition, haven't seen any obvious rust on them, will PM you a price etc.
Cheers,
Dave

I'm de-hibernating my 825si tomorrow, so forgive me for turning up out of the blue after not posting here for ages....

If the lid is in beige plastic, how much for the rear centre ashtray? The two retaining clips at the top of mine have snapped so it no longer stays in place. I've decided to try and go concours- starting from the inside out.

New rear ashtray seems a good place to start!
