Breaking 1996 825 Coupe.... :(

I need to dispose of my Coupe in the next couple of weeks, I don't have much time or storage space .
so I`m gonna sell a few bits on ebay to the highest bidder, need to get some cashback,
window switchpack, cd+stereo, expansion tank, door mirrors, Ecu+fobs etc

Can anyone else suggest some other things worth keeping... maybe items that are only found on a coupe, such as the aeriel (worth keeping I thought) or any other bits of trim...

Any members need anything in particular ?

as I said I don't have much time and space, my boss wants it shifted out of the works yard :(


Its green(Not BRG), kinda dark Forrest green metallic colour , Brad did once tell me the colour but I`ve forgotten it
It has beige leather(slightly darker then my other sterlings though) + green carpets.

The car does still run , but the headgasket has gone :(

Dean, that's gutting - no parts needed for me, but I've heard it's nigh on impossible to get rear screens for the coupe so if you can manage to extract that, could be worth a bob or two.

Is it possibly Woodcote green?

Bonnet alarm switch, fuel regulator, throttle regulator, floor mats, jatco box, windows lift ecu, fuel flap release solenoid, boot release solenoid.

yes I think it maybe woodcote green...

I`m in southwest London .

I`m not really doing the big stuff as I haven`t got much room for storage,
and I don't wanna lose all the skin off me knuckles trying to remove bits no one wants....
unless, of course, you wanna come and unbolt it and take it away :)

Hi Dean,

i'm interested in the carpets and maybe one or two other bits. The scuttle panel is apparently unique to the coupe although i'm not sure why.

As for bits that are worth saving, the ECU, CCU, alarm reciever module under the centre console and the fob are always useful - the ECU and CCU are matched together and the alarm reciever and fob are matched too. Ian (Stanker) might be interested in those last two bits! :wink:

Someone mentioned the rear screen, also the rear side windows, doors, door glass etc and anything electrical - relays, fuseboxes, ABS sensors, ABS modulator/ECU, copy valve, front & rear shocks/springs and other suspension bits that wear (upper wishbone assemblies for example), fuel filler neck and tank, fuel pump, rear lights, boot lid - the list goes on!
Depends how much room/time you've got to remove the bits and store them unless you have a buyer for the bits as they come off.

Most of it has gone mate , all that's left is the shell, body panels and engine(and that aint complete)

Probably a bit late on this but yes the scuttle panel and wing mirrors are unique to coupes due to the windscreen being a steeper rake than that on the saloon/fastback.
