This much i can tell anyone who looks at this thread - it ain't a 1985 car! The 800 wasn't launched until 1986 and this year is the 30th Anniversary!
It will be a saloon (fastbacks didn't come until later), M-series engine and almost certainly multipoint injection (140bhp) and probably a manual - after that it's anybodys guess!

A better description by the OP would be good - colour, gearbox, trim level etc just to help prospective purchasers/restorers make a decision. If memory serves correctly it will also have the PAS pump driven off the rear cam by a pulley, strange arrangement but works well when it's working.

Must be one of the first so worth saving if the tinworm hasn't gorged itself on the metalwork!
