Wow, definitely something going on with the prices lately.

Looks nice but not mint, usual drivers seat wear, mismatched wood on dash, faded rear light trims :D yes I'm being picky.

Long time since I've seen one in red aswel

It's been on the FB group too, wrong gear knob was mentioned as well.

I agree, nice-ish but but not mint.

Better to sort those easy things and present a proper wow car for the money?

Mine is better than this in Nightmare red and only 55k miles.

What does this make mine worth then? Totally original and none of the issues mentioned.

Besides the other "niggles" the back end has been resprayed and the close up of the wheel shows it has the wrong nuts on it. Here's what i mean about the paint :

Personally I think it looks a tidy car. And if you were in the market for a good one to fettle this car is perfect. I don't think the money being asked is to high and reflects the small amount of jobs that need attention to bring it up to the expected standards.

Many new or even less than 3 yr old cars have had some paintwork and given the state of our roads and appalling driving standards exhibited by some people it's hardly surprising, so to find a car of 20 years without paintwork needing some remedial work or has been done previously would be near miraculous. That being said it has to be a good job.

Smashing looking car, Steve. Lovely paintwork and interior looks just right with wood colour and perfect dash. I know which one I'd prefer!

I wondered about the paint on the ebay car too...

I wasn't quibbling the price Steve, just adding a couple of "niggles" to the mix. Overall neither of the niggles i added detracts from the car and yes, at 20 years old it's perfectly reasonable to expect some remedial paint, if only to get rid of the effects of the weather.
It looks (to my untrained eye) to be quite a good paint job, just a shame IMHO the masking wasn't as good as the spraying.

As you say, it's a very good base for fettling into a concours ready car and for someone looking for that would probablybe a very good purchase. :D
Cheers,
Dave

That is well tidy , couldn't see anything that didn't look brand new.

I Spy non original stereo and aerial though.

Is that a mark on the front bumper chrome trim ?

A new chrome o/e finisher has been fitted since and yes the previous owner had a dab radio fitted and had an aerial fitted to roof so I have left it there as the roof was drilled  I can still have the original stereo in the car though and I had thought of a colour coded shark fin so its not so noticeable, but then again don't want to disturb the fitting and allow water in so it is what it is
