Well I've dropped the price a further £50 on ebay. I am starting to get the odd message and offer now but still well below the asking the price of £300.

I've decided £200 is my minimum price outside of ebay as the trailer stands.

I am seriously considering stripping it though, as I'm sure the doors and other bits might interest some people?

I potentially have someone interested in the wheels but that becomes an issue in that I have nothing to put on it instead.

I have some 15" late Mk2b alloys if you want Chris - cost of carriage. Some have tyres but they're not what i'd call legal. The only legal one i found (and oddly/luckily the right size) is now serving duty as a spare tyre for my Volvo.
You're welcome to the tyres on them but they are odd sizes and rough, if not i'll take them off before sending the wheels if you have them.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks for that, I have a potential buyer now. So waiting on him to decide what he's doing.

I'll get back to you asap, once I know what's what.

No worries Chris, i also have a couple of prat-worn tyres in 195/60/15 guise that could be fitted to the 15" alloys so at least they'd be legal.

For a while anyway! :D

Dave

I'm happy, just wish it had been simpler.

Guy plans to turn it into a sleeping area for his son. Not my problem now. :)

Doesn't he like his son?

No disrespect to the trailer Chirs but that sounds like a permanent arrangement - fine for holidays/weekends away but every night?

That makes more sense. Would it not have been easier to buy a bigger tent? Or perhaps his son snores so the rest of the family need a separate sleeping area!

The guy has a VW camper of some sort, so plans to use this as an extension as such.

Doing it because he can I suspect. Of which I can relate to that. :D

The trailer is almost as big as a VW Camper (certainly the older ones anyway!) so that's quite an extension!

If it's the newer sort like a T4 or 5 then they're bigger. Maybe this is his inspiration :

Tried to find a silver one to match the trailer but couldn't - that was the nearest idea! :D
