Rover 216 CVT 29000 miles!

Post by SJG » Thu Sep 07, 2017 6:46 am

In case anyone is interested my Dad is selling my Mum's Rover 200, here are the details...

Its a Rover 216 IS auto 3 Door.
First Registered on 17/12/1999.
I purchased it from Rover cars on12/10/2001 when the mileage was 8883 miles.
Jackie has been the owner since then and has covered 29974 miles to date.
The car has had a service each year at Trident with an M.O.T as required.
This year the M.O.T was completed on 1st June 2017 at 29798 miles at MCP in West Byfleet they commented that o/s/f tyre was wearing low and the front discs were rusty through lack of use!
I did not have it serviced as it had only just completed 655 mils since its last service!
( I have always had an oil and filter change as a minimum each year).

The car is in very good condition taking into account its age with a few car parking scuffs and is very reliable.
The Auto transmission is a CVT, with Power Steering and as far as I am aware everything is in working order and it has full service history.

£500 or nearest offer

That looks seriously tidy - no obvious rust in the usual spots (particularly the rear arches). Interesting colour scheme inside, too.

Under 30k miles and 500 quid - a bargain

That's a tempting little runabout for someone i'm sure!

What colour is it Simon? Difficult to tell if it's Old English White, Beige, pale grey or silver on my monitor. :D
Cheers,
Dave

Nice car Simon. Liking the colour of the interior with the silver body work, unusual but very nice.

Good luck with the sale.

Is this still available? I've got a friend who's car has just gone bang and needs something to replace it pretty quickly!
