Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
This looks a little unloved.
A Blue 827 coupe, seems quite a rare colour.

899 147 miles (I know the Honda engines are bullet proof but cricky DM!!)

Re: Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
Judging by the look of this coupe, I would guess that it is owned by a man in his late 30s to mid 40's? Not sure how this is relevant... Would have had a lookin if it was with a manual box

Re: Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
I've just sent the seller a massage asking for clarification on the mileage. Then i spotted a pic of the instrument pack - 89914 . 7 miles, just under 90k in other words!
That aside, Charles - what makes you say it's owned by a certain age-grouped male? Looks completely standard to me?

The tax expired in January 2012 so has stood for more than a "few months". Check out what looks like black tinted windows and just a tad dash lift.

Its the colour, the tinted glass and the alternative private reg. (Just thinking at random)scoobyh123 wrote:That aside, Charles - what makes you say it's owned by a certain age-grouped male? Looks completely standard to me?

Re: Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
I can see where you're going with that Charles but the coupe (as i'm sure you know) has slightly darker tinted glass on the rear side windows and screen. I've been trying to work out whether the blue coupe here has had extra tinting applied to those windows or whether it's down to the lighting and camera shot accentuating the darkness of the tint.
As for the number plate, a lot of people of all ages have those Irish "private" plates. In fact my first Jag had IJI 1392 and i bought that from a middle aged guy who had bought it from an older bloke who had it from new and fitted the IJI plate when it got a bit older to hide its real age.
The colour is just a mystery though - if i've got it right i think it's Carribean Blue (or maybe Cayman Blue) and i don't know about anyone else but i like that colour now and i liked it in my 20's and 30's too.
Who knows - you're probably right!

So is this checkmate or stalemate? I like the colour, I like the car, and I'm aged mid 20's. Looking at the pictures again I'm not sure if this car has had extra tints either?scoobyh123 wrote:.

Re: Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
In short, jury is out on the tints, we both like the colour, both like the car and i'm about 20 years older than you but would still have bought it at your age if i had the money and if a gold one hadn't been available.
So yes mate, i've checked it and it's not stale. Meanwhile i did the lottery earlier and it's another Rollover. If i get a decent win i'll buy this blue one. The chances of that are pretty remote though but i live in hope!

Re: Blue 827 coupe YBZ6535
The only blues available for that model were Pearlescent Caribbean or Tahiti. Cayman was only on the later KV6 period cars. Colour doesn't matter as it would need a re-spray anyway, still nice especially the interior from what you can see.

Looking at it, it looks like it's got that green goo that forms on cars not used for a while. I reckon with a good wash and polish, it would still look presentable even without a respray.DT2door wrote: it would need a re-spray anyway, still nice especially the interior from what you can see.
