Great video, I noticed the US-Spec 827Si's had powered front seats with half leather trim. My old 827Si in normal form would have come with sweet F-A

It was a great vid. Hear the price!? 27000 dollars! Those jammy gets in the USA get cars free in their cornflakes. I remember when Cadillac were import only LHD US spec here in the UK, and GM wanted £30000+ for cars that were $13000 on the road!
Tell ye what, the Sterling looked great through those cones, didn't it? People who always use the words 'wallowy' and 'houseboat' when assessing the 800s suspension should see that.
In 1990, I reckon $27000 would be about £17-18000. Bargain!
(am I right in saying that would be a UK Vitesse 2.7?)

The price for pre-owned cars (s/h) are expensive though, mainly tdi's, $5000 for a 2000 jetta tdi for instance with 150k. I was looking at a 2001.5 passat and they gor for around $5000.BRG wrote:It was a great vid. Hear the price!? 27000 dollars! Those jammy gets in the USA get cars free in their cornflakes. Yeah they do, i removed the fuse for the driverside one as smoke starting coming out of the b pillar and the battery went dead.Richard C wrote:Those seatbelts would pee me off.
I now have to seat int he car and pull the belt over my head, i could unclip it fromt he b pillar but cba plus you then have to normally do up the lap belt, kind of retarded if you ask me.

It is the same for pre-owned cars produced in America? You only mention euro boxes.austinpowers wrote:The price for pre-owned cars (s/h) are expensive though, mainly tdi's, $5000 for a 2000 jetta tdi for instance with 150k. Pretty much for most cars inc american built, a quick look on kbb.com (sort of like parkers) will give you an idea, but book price for a 2005 high miler Dodge caravan minivan is around $3000-4000, so not too bad, but yeah generally prices are higher than in the uk, s/h tdi engines go for around 3-4 times the price compared to uk prices.Kyle wrote:It is the same for pre-owned cars produced in America? Not enough diesel cars tbh or manuals either.
