Cheers guys, I've even got a DVD of old 1990 Top Gear where one of the presenters joins a Birmingham Police driver in a Mk1 827 fastback Police car pursuing joyriders.

I've been watching Police Stop for ages, recently though, I've been looking for a chase which involved a Mk1 Silver Sterling, an early Renault Espace and a Mini all racing each other in Liverpool where they all ended up getting pulled over by one Police Car.

oooh have you noticed on the second picture posted by Mo that the 827 is sitting behind a Swintek combi cone certified to BS standard 873 with a fully reversable reflective sleeve, Not to be confused with the JSP Big foot or the daddy of all cones the JSP Dominator

I've never seen a job 827 with that rear matrix sign in place of the reg number plate. Any more details, ie where in London it was taken?

Would like to make some more enquiries to find out if it was a standard fitment.
