my 1998 vitesse coupe

Bought another car as the company motor goes back tommorow, so needed a run around untill i get another job and get a company car.

Diddnt have a huge budget but found this cheap enough

vitesse coupe turbo late 98, with lux pack i think, everything works as it should even the air con :

It does look dated from the front but its a lovely car to drive still


gave it a clean and a quick clean impressed with the results and the car

Gorgeous car in my favourite colour scheme!

The lux pack was a Vitesse saloon/fastback option that replaced the Recaro seats with leather ones (drivers seat was also made electric) and added air con. Coupés had that gear anyway.

Ohh yes that one shines up nicely,

They do look a little dated now, especially if you have come from something less than three years old, but they are good cheap cars, they have lots of character.

Very nice, BRG with cream lether, always a nice combination. There are worse cars for the same amount of budget you might have had.

cleans up very nice and like the transporer i too like the mudflaps
260bhp from a kv6 sounds fun, did you fit the supercharger and if so what sort of cost

Im guessing mudflaps arnt std then?? if so i like them to lol...

The ZS has been a bit of a project, RSM fitted the charger and mapped it to suit, its been troublesome in its time because of the manufacture sprintex.

anyway its not hard to fit and takes under a day, as it was designed for the KV6, Rover were planning on doing a supercharged ZS for retail, but they couldnt get it reliable either, when rover went pop sprintex were left with a design and stock. They were actually commishened in MGR australia.

Certainly makes a nice noise, and in my striped out ZS makes it very quick, 13.5 quarter mile last year
