just hammered the car down the road for a few miles and seems to have freed off the tappet, found the best place for brake pads, believe it or not halfraurds, if you work in the mechanics trade you can apply for a trade card and get upto 65% off the price :shock: :D , they don't advertise it anywhere you've got to ask for a form.

just got a 827 mk2 coupe and loving it, more commanly known as mad mick ( used to run a nitros injected firebird ) still missing my rover, now got a BMW 735 1999. now got 2003 760l, a 6.0ltr V12 and 445bhp. :evil:

adjusted the tappets on saturday now sounds alot better, replaced the front pads the n/s one was almost on the steel backing ( 2mm off the steel ) was going to take some photos but forgot my camera :oops: will take some next saturday when i do the rear brakes, when i tried to take the rears apart the bolts founded off so it going to be a bit of a job but no worrys i've got a fully equiped workshop ( drills,grinders and best of all oxy/acetylene cutting torch :twisted: :shock: )

Way too overweight there!.

I would only use a coupe (or bigger motor)with assistors and new shocks to trailer another coupe!.

it was a case of engine forwards and the weight on the back or engine rear and the rear wheels of the 820 just touching the floor
