Yes there are many different products and many reviews and life expectancy figures. This makes it a harder choice for some like me. Maybe next time I'll go with those £4.00 a pair wilko blades. The Bosch I have fitted are the flexi blades, same as before. On the Mk1 I had Trico flexi type blades, but those didn't last all that long.scoobyh123 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 1:24 pmI've seen so many reviews on wiper blades and different life expectancy figures!
Some of the best have been on Denso blades. Again, not cheap but very good.
I've recently fitted these to my Sterling after recieving a pair by accident when i ordered some "normal" ones for my Volvo. Both cars are running 20" blades so it was a fair comparison and that was why i bought them for the Sterling too. So far, very impressed with them but that said, i was impressed with the £4/pair Wilko 20" "old skool" style blades when i first fitted them 5 years ago!
They did well, lasting that long and passed the MoT this year even - they started to smear slightly once the weather warmed up.
I had a feeling that the coupe would fail on the wiper blades, so I was pleased that it didn't even get an advisory for these!
My sisters Passat failed on the nearside wiper blade last year so that made me wary at the coupe' MOT time.
I think its the German TUV test that's quite strict for wiper blade condition, and vehicle owners must spend a fair amount on replacement blades as a result.
