Deano, these were LHD only, grey.

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
They look grey to me Dean and i seem to recall when i looked on Rimmers they only have them in LHD - you won your bet!
Think i had the last set of Stone Beige "Premium" RHD mats from Rimmers in a sale a few years back for the princely sum of £18 delivered.
Given that Rimmers are in the UK with RHD being the predominant one and allbrit.de are in Germany where it's predominantly LHD, you may be lucky and find some RHD mats there :
http://allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?PAGE=734027&SPRACHE=EN
Can't guarantee they will have a sale on, even though it's Schwarze Freitag! (Black Friday)

Getting there Henrik!
Seems odd seeing the interior of an 800 with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side but i suppose ours must look odd to you as well.

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
Ok a small update with som questions for the gurus.
First pic. The front doors dont align as seen. Is it fairly simple to unbolt the hinges and give it a try or will I get into more trouble?
Second pic. My very good friend Gunnar stopped by yesterday with some nice wood for the centre console. Looks great! The gear gaiter is from eBay, excellent fit and quality except for the inside moulded ring under the knob. But I’ll sort that later.
Third pic. Roof, behind rear door. I guess there should be some trim here? I suspect it was something black, plastic removed to sort the progressing rust.
Still a great runner. Feels so small compared to my coupe which is strange as the recaros actually are both lower and further back. This feels more like my old 620ti did! Love it!

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
First pic Henrik - it looks like you'll need to adjust the door a little - if you look closely at the hinges and the doors where they mount, there are alignment marks stamped into the doors, body and the hinges. Check those first to see if they are out of alignment, looking at the door it looks as if someone has forced the door open at the top to drop some string or similar down to lift the lock button.
Second pic - looking good! Vast improvement!
Third pic - allowing for weathering of the paintwork, that's how it left the factory. They run a bead of "seam sealer" into the gap and then paint over it, my Sterling saloon is the same and all other saloons i've seen have been the same, including both my Mk1s.
Perhaps because the Vitesse suspension is 20mm lower and the Recaros make you sit lower that is why it feels smaller?

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
Thanks Dave, didnt know the alignment marks existed. Will check tomorrow! I think the Doors are misaligned as the top of the door side isn’t inline with the wing. Not an extreme issue but passing 65-70mph means loads of hissing noise from the A-pillar and top frame.
Regarding the seats I must say the sterling interior is a LOT thicker and higher. I’m 188cm and the coup is a tad too small!
The suspension is rock hard on this one. Driving known roads really tells the difference. My coup has the normal Vitesse springs but thicker ARBs. This is a lot stiffer, and this is on 15inch wheels!
Oh, and sorry for strangely used capitals. My phone thinks Im writing in Swedish!

Thanks Simon!
Less than 10 820ti/Vitesse sport left over here. These Rovers from the Honda collaboration always were severely underrated both in performance and durability. I love it!

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
Adjusting the hinges were easy peasy and Done in 5 minutes. I couldnt find any alignment marks on the front hinges but the rear one fitted with two large torx had marks. Adjusted front an rear and door is now flush with the rest of the body.

And yes, the car is dead quiet now. Even did a short burst at a bit higher speed and no noise around the doors.
So, next step is my boot lid. Misaligned aswell. Either this car has been put together by inhabitants of a local zoo, or it's been smashed up various times and then reassembled by - yep: inhabitants of a local zoo!
After that a somewhat sticking throttle cable. When cold, not an issue, when hot sticking in the upper position/idle making driving in slow traffic a bit annoying, Have been feeling the spindle and it's not sticking, lubricated the pedal and the wire itself, but probably the lubricant can't reach into the bowden cable. Probably need to lift the cable off the car.

Re: Manalishis red Vitesse Sport
When you say the bootlid is misaligned, which way do you mean? The side to side adjustment is under the parcel shelf trim, one each side.
The rest of the adjustment can be found fairly easily - hinge to bootlid, striker and of course the rubber buffers near the top of the light clusters on the body.
I don't think you have a sticking throttle, more like the stepper motor for increasing the idle speed when cold and also when hot if the air-con is running for example or if the battery is in a low state of charge or its last legs.
Are there any clues the battery might be low or on its way out? Things like having to frequently reprogram the windows, losing the radio code, windows all opening when you start and other oddball things?
Sometimes these won't show up immediately but substituting a known good battery should sort things out.
Also if the battery has recently been changed or went flat, it's possible that MEMS is relearning everything and the idle speed will drop with use - also worth checking the rubber throttle body mount for air leaks as a leak here will increase the idle speed and cause a bit of rough running. Also the CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) not to be confused with the temperature gauge sender although i think both are in the thermostat housing. Long time since i was "hands on" with a T-Series but hopefully someone else can confirm the location of the CTS.
They usually fail in a state that tells the MEMS the engine is cold so the idle speed remains high and it throws extra fuel in for cold start enrichment permanently. Check the coolant level too, if that's low it can give the same symptoms.
A few things there to keep you busy!
