Just needs:

A pair of front seats (see seperate thread)
New headlamps due to cracks/chips
New number plates
One indicator due to discolouration
4 new wheels (easier than cleaning/refurbishing)
Chrome inserts for bumpers and side trims
Dash re gluing
Bit of paint here and there
Fuse box soldering (dodgy windows!)
Full BB service (auto fluid, fuel filter, air cleaner etc)
Mew main relay as it works only with a kick.

Here are some pics of the Rover 800 Coupe I bought last month for Â£200 with long MoT and 3 months tax. Some cosmetics needed. Not too much, really.

I am actually quite tempted to fit a set of the orange lights to my 825 Coupe - I prefer them too!

Thanks, ladies...

Yes, I will be keeping it standard. The (safer) original orange taillights are staying - might fit new ones. The 16" prestiges are staying - a set of 4 new ones paid for and on their way.

New carpet (which I forgot that I had) will also be going in together with much newer cream seats.

I had some trouble today with the Main Relay under the drivers steering column. Need to get a new one of those, too.

Oh, and a new grille with the black slats (as original).

Number plates ordered this evening.

I hope to be able to drive it to Sutton in Ashfield one day soon and get Chris's picture taken with his ideal car!

Brad i see that you need chrome inserts for the rubbing strips- where on earth do you get them from, or is it a case of refurbishing them somehow?
